I went by today too. They had really great looking Amazon Swords I got, as well as some Anubias on lava rock and Lutea Crypts.

Grabbed a water sprite too, that'll probably just get chewed to shreds by my snails, but we'll see. $46 for two Swords, two Lutea Crypts, two Anubias on lava rock and the Water Sprite.

Of course I'm dumb and forgot to use my 10% coupon to up it.

They did when I was there. I bought four and there were at least four or five more in the tank. Keep in mind that they feeding can be a problem. Don't expect to feed them flake food.

I just looked at page 1 of this thread. Do you think "lopez 316us", who started this has any idea just how long it would run? He hasn't posted to the site since 3/12/2012!

Also, he told me that he will sell cherry shrimp and Amano shrimp in tomorrow

Good pic! Sums it up.I will head over there soon.

Bump: And, I will be setting up sort of casual LFS soon. Provided I move and get settled in. I was thinking mostly shrimp, basic plants, killifish, guppies, and maybe some other small fish. No big cichlids. Maybe a few rams.

He's likely moved on like some of us.

Not so much another LFS but an existing one that relocated from mulberry.

Monster Aquarium in Flushing, Queens is fantastic. Small, so you aren't getting a huge selection, but what they do have is extremely well kept, including multiple shrimp tanks.

IDR +1, Monster has amazing tanks. I dont like, however, the tadpoles, crayfish, frogs, and newts that they keep in tiny (2X3) little tanks. Last time I was there they had 8-10 LARGE (3") tadpoles, all stacked pretty much, in 2-3 inches of water. All in a 6X7 tank. Pretty sad. But I do love their tanks. The large square tank in the front is truly impressive.
