awesome scape, always love scapes with dragon stone. cant tell from the photo but is there enough rock where you can put sand in between the V and create a path going up? (not sure if that makes sense) I think it would look awesome like that verses just the square patch of sand.

Plant is growing out nicely since I came back. I have increased the co2 inject and photo period and continue with EI daily dosing. I am especially happy with my rotala vietnam golden up at the tip, it is one of my favorite plant.

I am trying to get a carpet of micro sword but it is thriving. Looking to replace it with monte carlo.

I have also added more rocks to the white square. Hopefully, it improve the scape, but I am not too sure. LOL

Today, I replace my light with a 120W full spectrum light. There is two dimmable buttons that I can get a arrangement of color.

I went ahead a trim all my rotala vietnam that was nutrient deficient. Plus, I replace the pre-filter sponge with stainless steel mesh.

I replace all my micro-sword plant with Monti Carlo. It see how long it will take to carpet the tank.

All these ammania sp bonsai was propagate from 2 bonsai stems.. A total of 26 new bonsai.

Here is one month update.

I'd changed the light to my old one, because the new one is so strong that I am having algae problem.
I also have install 2 x 3 watts deep red 660nm LED into my old light. Overall, my lighting look more yellowish. Amazing how two red leds can be so dominant even with 10 x 3 watts cree cool white LEDs.

The monti carlo is growing great. I use the trimming and replant it. Hopefully it will carpet by the end of this month.

I had also switch from 1x per week 50% water change due to EI dosing. To changing it every other week due to my hectic schedule. I have not see any ill effect on the plants and shrimp.

Here is two pictures:

After a long and intense coursework of medical microbiology and Infection disease, which a year worth of material finish in 7 weeks, I finally have some TLC for the tank. I added more substrate to rise the background. Also, I added more stone and a pathway walking up the mountain.

Let me know what do you guy think.
