Holly cow :shock: That's mean. Shouldn't it be illegal? I'm not familiar with any animal cruelty law but I read some lawsuit regarding animal cruelties. Isn't this one of them???

I'm glad to hear that! I hate how bettas are crammed into a thimble that they can't even turn around in, and ONE bowl movement polutes the water to hazardous levels. All mine are kept in at LEAST half a gallon with frequent water changes.
