Sweet! new videos to watch! I'm always impressed with Amano's scapes, in the second video where he removes the sand, if I decided I didn't like it, and it was just me, it would be staying

Agree. On the flip side there are probably some talented scapers who don't have access to materials and it makes it much more difficult. I've always said inventory is a big part of it. In a way many aquascaping contests are not on an equal playing field since many participants are professionals or quasi-professionals who have more access than others.

The person managing their YouTube page has clearly given up on organization based on language (don't even try to navigate it) but here's the latest ADA store video:

UPDATE: My favorite part is the sandbox/thing setup that allows you to create your own hardscape before making a purchase. Oh, how I wish more shops had something like that!

Did anybody else notice in the first video that tank gets a boat load of AS and then hours later has fish in it? Larger volume of water to AS ratio and decreased ammonia toxicity due to the low pH. He must be using straight RO to let the AS slam the pH down so he can get fish in there right away.

My brain is always so melty after watching him randomly let people toss around tens of thousands of dollars worth of fun stuff that I didn't notice that. Great catch!

What do you guys think of his new aquascaping technique? For example, the scape in this video… He is creating pots or walls of stones more or less …
