greetings,
this hobby is endless...just when i think i am set up, i hear the term "cavitate", i.e. pressurized co2 can cavitate the impeller if co2 is run into the intake. any takers?

Is yours cavitating ? If its not then don't worry about it.
Cavitation is a term applied to a fluid pump when a gas gets pumped thru it and the gas compresses and decompresses as it goes thru the impeller. Its usually not damaging to an impeller pump. It could wreak havoc on hydraulic and other sorts of positive displacement pumps. Impeller pumps are not positive displacement pumps. The noise can be annoying though. Marcel
