Hey bill! Dunno if you remember me or not, we talked plants and pests one time. Dunno if I'll be able to make it, my son was born today so I'm not sure what life will be like around that time, but I would love to join in if I can!

The name escapes me, but yes, I do remember . Congrats!! We'd love to have you make it if you can. If not, I'm sure we'll have at least another before the nice weather ends

I'm good on Sundays to meet up. I work Saturdays until 7pm.

I still have a pile of Glosso I'll give away for free and also for free a pile of Wysteria. I've been keeping the Wysteria a "shield" over the half of my tank that is low light while my Glosso carpet grows in the. The cloud of Wysteria need to be thinned out. I have no problem just throwing it away but thought I'd offer it here if anybody wants to come get it...

I have 10 five banded barbs i'm looking to sell. $20 for the 10 of them.

I also have a not to exciting to look at apistogramma that could use a new home.

I'm trying to reduce the number of non-african fish in my tank. though, i can't imagine they'll be fun to get out of a 125g tank

Red face New to planted tanks--advice from fellow Philly folks?

I'm starting my first planted aquarium--I thought I knew things because I have had aquariums since I was a kid but this is a whole new world it seems.

I have gone to Aquarium Center over the bridge in New Jersey for fish in the past. Not sure about their plants. Any recommendations about where to get plants and plant supplies?

I just got a 75 gallon tank (48" wide rectangular) and am going to take a stab at planting it. The tank came with hood lighting with 2 Philips F40T12 bulbs (40 watt each). I want to do a low light low tech planted set up--based on my research that seems the best fit for me. Is this enough/the right kind of lighting? If not, what would you recommend?

Also, I have some great, strong filters. I have a Whisper 100 that needs tubing--do you think I need to set something like that up in addition to my Fluval 406? Do you think a short term DIY CO2 infusion would be enough to get started before I get fish in there?

I have a ton of rocks to build with from a former cichlid tank--want some plants that will grow on rocks if tied to them. I'm also open to recommendations on the best substrate combinations, and the best prices around here.

If anyone wants to trade anything with me (or offer a good price), I am game. I have a box of random misc filter and other supplies, including most (maybe all?) of the parts to a H.O.T. Magnum 250 and an Aqueon 55. I am also trying to sell a 30 gallon bow front tank w stand and open to selling a 15 gallon rectangular tank.

Thanks!!
