i am thinking about getting a baeta in a 100% cillica sand tank is it too small? and baeta poop will stay on the bottom.
out of the aquarium for a while... college

2.5 gallons is too small for any fish. 5.5 is the minimum size I'd keep a betta in. teh sand will be fine. betta are pretty clean fish, so you probably won't find too much fish waste, but yes it will sink to the bottom and lay on top the sand until it breaks down or is vacuum'd out.
