I'm finally beginning to like the planting of the tank, after i bought the Elodae densa and java moss. At the LFS i saw some Christmas moss, but i didnt want to buy it as i dont know anything about it. Got any specs? He just told me it is java moss, but i'm 100% sure that it is CM.
I'm having "cory problem". One of the corys just died, and the rest are now nearly as active as they used to be. The otos, angels, rams and the Red finned black sharck is doing fine. Know why the cories are inactive? Tanks specs: 1,2 wp/g(with aluminium tape under bulbs) Fluval 3+ filter Hydor 100 watt heater Hagen Nutrafin CO2 system Fish: 1 Labeo bicolor, 4 Pterophyllum scalare, 9 Corydoras trilineatus, 2 Otocinclus affinis and a German Blue Ram pair. Plants: Elodea densa, Hygrophila difformis, Hygrophila polysperma, Vesicularia dubyana, Microsorum pteropus "windeløv", Microsorum pteropus, Echinodorus bleheri. I'm sorry that i cant get any better pictures but i only got a webcam. - Glud

9 cory's and a coconut ?
The coconut threw me... interesting. As far as the corys... they are actually big eaters and with 9 of them I am wondering about their diet. Inactivity (with a healthy look ) can come from lack of fuel so to speak. Mother nature has installed a great metabolism in fish that enables them to go long periods without food but with it comes a "lack of activity" ... Bottom feeders are notorious for "rest periods" when not properly nourished. The best way to feed them is to drop a good quality pellet food just before the lights go out , thats when the cory's do the most feeding. Buck
