I need some Suggestions Please

Hello,

I am working on my first planted tank. Its 10g with amazon sword, dwarf sage, jun val. I have a light deficiency and I do not know what to do for a light. I have read a lot of conflicting things. I am looking for some clear advice or suggestions as to what light system to get. I need to get it saturday or my plants aren't going to make it much longer. Any helpful advice or suggestions is appreciated.

Keeping life simple - Finnex Planted+. Solid light, nice color, reasonable price. I'm happy with mine, and you'll be happy with yours.

A standard 10 gallon tank is so narrow, front to back, that a single strip of light down the middle will light it very well. Finnex Fugeray lights would do that exceptionally well.

I have two 10 g tanks. I use regular fluorescent bulbs (for kitchen) sold at Wallmart. All plants grow very well. Partial light from window is adding some extra. I also have one 10 g equipped with very old canopy designed for two incandescent aquarium bulbs. Instead, I use two of modern fluorescent ones, producing a lot of light. Java moss and Crypts love it. Only Otos in this tank. They help to keep algae in control.
