Quick question, I've been getting some algae in my ten gallon tank. I am currently using Aqualife T5HO 36 watt lights. Is this too much light? The fixture will not operate if you remove one bulb. I was thinking of adding some window screen on the fixture were the plexiglass is, do you think this will help?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am using a paintball CO2 setup.

I have the same setup with the Odyssea fixture 36 watt over 10 gallon. Had insane algae problems so I only have the lights on for 5 hours a day now. No algae now and plants still growing.

I run a Current USA Nova Extreme 20" 2x18W=36W T5HO over my tank and run a 5# CO2 system (5bps), and have to scrub the walls maybe once every two weeks, otherwise no problems. I've got some green spot and green dust algae, previously caused by zero nitrates and low phosphates.

What is your photoperiod? Are you adding fertz? What's your plant/critter contingent?

More importantly, what are your water parameters?

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
