The one by me had some humphead glassfish. Sold them for like $50 and then reduced to $25/ea but I don't see them on the list.

I guess they dropped amano shrimps from the list.

The petco by me is a high volume aquatic store, they even have a coral frag tank, no freshwater shrimp though, odd

Exclamation Breaking information!

Hey guys, I just spoke with someone at my local Petco who told me it would be best to stop by the 12 or 13th to make my order. They order for that sale on the 15th. Also, he said the livestock list varies on a WEEKLY basis depending on what is available, so the list posted may be inaccurate by that time, but also we may get some extra surprises by that date.

TL;DR--Check two weeks early because what is available for order today might not be available next week.

I just talked to a manager today about this and she's all for it. She's new though. Told me to give her a list by the 14th. However I'm reluctant because I have no way of finding out prices until they are here. Am I bound to the fish if they come in but a lot higher price than expected? I don't want to be that guy who special orders and not pick them up. Prices are not the same at all petcos right? Also do you guys know if petco is a chain that raises prices of goods when they have sales, like grocery stores? I saw Denison barbs that are normal priced at $10, I wonder if they would raise the prices to $20 during the sale.

I'm gonna go raid all the plants on the 23rd. Too lazy to preorder.

The Petco near me often has ick in it's tanks, which given their filtration means it's in all their tanks. if I had an extra tank to use as a quarantine....
But their plants are in large separate tank and I can quarantine them in a large jar for a little while. They have some lovely anubias.

Has anyone checked it out today to see if anything good came in?

They had gotten more plants in so I went and picked up crypts and anubias. They had some nice sized anubias with the sucker thing to stick it on the side of an aquarium, but I'll probably just tie it to a rock.
I didn't see any unusual fish but they did have cherry shrimp! I've never seen cherry shrimp there before. With the sale, I think the price on the cherry shrimp would have been $1.50. They were in a breeder net to keep the fish from eating them. I've got enough cherry shrimp so I didn't buy any.

I don't buy anything live from my local Petco. Too many diseases and dead fish in the tanks. I want their bamboo shrimp, but I have resisted.

The local petco here is fortunately pretty decent. Good selection of both salt and freshwater, and small coral frag tank.

Ended up buying 7 female bettas for my 20L, and 10 cherry barbs, 4 boesemani rainbows, and 2 BN plecos for my 110.

Plant selection was kind of meh, though. Most of the anubias that are usually there were gone.
