Awesome color on this maybe 3 month old fish. The parents just released wigglers today. So hoping for a successful grow out this time around. Removed the father as I believe he has been snacking on his off spring. So we will see

There were so many offspring and the female was so defensive! What tank are they in now? How are they doing?

I think the male chomped them down, and then the picture of the above 3 month old was still in that tank so I believe that between the two they snacked them down. Once she had wigglers again I removed the male and the 3 month old and she seems much more comfortable with having them graze all around the tank. The male is in the 20long directly across. I'm gonna add a couple females in with him and hope to have a couple batches at a time

Here she is with her cloud of babies. They were brought out of the cave on 1/12. And have been doing great so far.
