What part of the anatomy are these darker masses inside of these shrimp?


Just noticed this yesterday.... the arrow points to the dark mass inside of them.

Is this the shrimp's stomach?



Some of them have really dark noticeable patches & others are significantly lighter.

The ones in the photo are new, so just wondering if that patch/stomach is a good indicator of health or age?

Color of their guts only tells you they're eating something dark or light
