Ok im not sure I have a 48 gallon its 20L 18W 30T I was gonna use a quad
96W for it but my question is will 2 wpg be enough for Amazon swords and dwarf sag.? The main reason im wasking is because the tank is 30"T will the plants grow?

uh, a quad 96 watt light fixture on a 48 gallon tank would equal 8 watts per gallon. might be a little high. im hoping there was a typo in there somewhere.

WOW you can grow that plus all of the algea you can want. Or on the other hand it might be so bright that everything might get sun stroke and die.

its only 2 wpg? What do you mean everything? Everythign can grow under only 2 wpg?

2wpg using quality reflectors like AHsupply will be enough, especially since your 2wpg are over a relatively small surface area. Very practical lighting.

You will be pushing the medium/high boundry and will be able to grow just about anything you want.

30" of depth is no a big deal, easpecially with decent reflectors.
