Ordering question

I have been looking for a good light for my new planted tank and it looks like I might have found it with you guys!

I am using a Marineland 25g cube with the dimensions of 18x18x18. I have about 2 - 2.5 inches of soil on the bottom. Because the tank was originally meant for a reef (I removed the overflow box) the rim is wider than a normal tank.
So my question is do I go with the 18in fixture or the 12in fixture? I know I want the 10k/90deg and will probably add another fixture at some point in the future.

TIA for your help!

Hi Mary,

That's a super cute cube tank! As for your question, it really depends on how you plan to mount the light(s). If you want to use our Tank Mounts then you'll want the 18" fixture, but if you plan on suspending the light(s) above the tank then the 12" will work fine. They both run 15 LEDs in different housing lengths.

Please let me know if you have any further questions!
