Cool

ADAtanks 60p Thread

This has been a work in progress for some time now and I think I finally got all my equipment in order. The scape is another story. I had plans to use just aquasoil and I got bored of it over time. I had True dwarf sag planted and ripped of that out because i could never get it to completely carpet. I also did a big trim and sold off a bunch of plants this is why it looks kinda bare at the moment. I plan to redo the current scape in the next few weeks using a combination of aquasoil and decorative sand to brighten up the scape. I will probably keep the plant list the same as I want to keep it simple but I do plan to wrap moss around the branchwood. I plan to get better more detailed pictures up here and there as well. Thanks for looking.

How'd you get the speed regulator with a CG320 conversion?

I purchased the speed regulator with the adaptor already with it. They sell the adaptor online Im sure if you do a search you can find it. Im glad I found the ada speed regulator because no one carries this anymore unless you special order it from afa. There was somone selling a speed regulator with adaptor on the for sale section not too long ago.

Looks good. Reminds me of the 90P display at AFA. I really am not fond of the Garden Stand but I think it looks 100% better with the rack (shelf) installed. I am surprised how many times I have seen this stand online without it, really thinking, "that's ugly". The rack makes it look very "purpose built" and I actually am going to say it looks really good, even though it hurts me inside haha.

lol well thanks talontsiawd i guess. I really like the stand It has a "industrial" look I really like and I have not seen many out there. I like the regular ada wood stand as well but I prefer this one just a bit more. I have not seen the AFA 90p setup but I agree the shelf attachment really "completes" the look without it it kinda looks like its missing something.

The AFA 90P doesn't have that stand, just a similar layout tank wise.

As for the stand, I am just saying I have never seen it look very appealing. With the rack and the way you have it set up, it looks great. I hope you see the humor in my post.

You really like your ADA and it shows.
The tank is looking good so far. It feels a little symmetrical at the moment (that could change with the stems in the back left growing in) and I would be tempted to move the java ferns on the right. With the nice coverage of anubias you have going on, I think one big bunch of ferns off center would look awesome.

And maybe you can answer a question on the speed regulator. How do those green connectors work? I have one here and I feel like I'm going to rip the thing apart when pulling on them. Is there a trick that I'm unaware of?

Jealous! Completely jealous of the set up. The filter looks great, is it true it's near $1000?

yo Prototyp3, you need to push the green plastic down then take out the tube. It's a push connect style of tubing.
