I've been there not a great selection and I don't like what I see or the vibe I get with respect to the dogs and other animals sold there. If your coming out that way two better places are pets warehouse in copagiague and south shore tropical s in lindenhust. I am actually about to stop in both places when they open today. They do have some live plants and a small tropical fish section at selmers. Hope this helps

Thanks Darth T. Good to know. We're going to visit those two places as well.

I've been to selmers over the years. It's more a dog, bird, small mammal place than a great fish place.

Selmers doesn't have much.
Not worth the time unless you're traveling on Jericho to get out twords aquahut.
Most of the shops get the same stuff anyways.

There is an aquarium only place that from what I remember was mostly saltwater, but if you headed that way you can give it a look. It's about a mile east of Selmers on Jericho.

That is aqurium design network as featured on the show "tanked". It is mostly saltwater with some cichlids.
