I am considering painting the background on my tank after seeing how nice it looks. So, for those who have done this, what is the best way?

I was going to just use spray paint and make sure the glass was nice and clean first. Is it that simple? Any brand recommendations? Should I try and do some layering effect or just go solid color for my first attempt?

Any advice or warnings from those who have done this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tony
