how much I would pay depends on how it works. I have 6 tanks totaling 355g that I change weekly, so yeah I'd be interested.

If its brainless, fool proof, and works, I would pay a lot.

Our manufacturer said that they talked to stores in other countries and they thought there would be no interest in this sort of thing. Hmmm sounds kind of silly. What do you guys think?

I have to agree that $50 would be awesome, but in reality, I'm guessing somewhere around $100+.

I'm interested to see what you're talking about. It would be a very nice perk to have on my tank!

I am starting a Facebook page to help show that there is interest in this and that our manufacturers should make this product a reality. Please follow this link:

https://www.facebook.com/HydraAutomaticWaterChanger

And press "LIKE"

This is my own personal baby that I have been working on for quite some time, please pass this along and help me get this noticed. Feel free to read my post on the page to see what the situation is and why we need to get this produced. Thank you!

That sounds silly to me as well. How in touch are they with the end consumers? What stores are they asking? Are they relying on only the people who own those stores? Or the actual consumers? I am pretty sure every person who has ever owned a fish tank wished there was an automatic water change that is not too expensive and easy to setup/use. That is a no brainer, just like you can never have a big enough tank. Have you thought of advertising your idea on any of the large reef forums? I can imagine they would be a major consumer base.

Yeah, I don't know what stores they are asking all I know is that they are stores in other countries...I think asking stores is ok but really its the customers opinion that counts....
