Terraium idea's

I want to buy a 2.5 gallon from Petsmart to make a terrarium, what should I put in it? Should I make it a cactus terrarium, or a carnivorous terrarium? I majored in horticulture at a trade school, so I know what it entails to make one. I just can't make up my mind with the two choices.

Thumbs up Why bother to even use a AQUARIUM?

You can use ANYTHING for a terrarium.
The hardest part is to picking out the plants and getting them adjusted to the new environment.

I'm sure you've seen these before.

The last one is beautiful, look at the jade tree on the bottom left. Of course they will have to be transplanted in a few years.

carnivorous tanks are SICK! Buddy of mine in the navy had a small bedroom 10`x10` converted into a carnivorous tank! planted tiered beds going up every wall, auto rain system, led lights that simulated lightning sun up sun down cloud cover and a sound system to match! Had skylights and floor drain, it was beast! i never knew so many dang plants ate bugs! seriously ive always wanted to copy that design!
