put floaters/fish from pond back in tank?

I had a nice summer container pond going, everything went very well. I am curious if you guys would considering using the floaters in my main tank. Duckweed and frogbit. I dont want to risk it if I am going to be bringing in any kind of bugs, so originally I wasn't planning on using them. But before I threw them away I figured I might ask.

Maybe dip them in that pomogrante stuff?

Edit- I guess I should also ask this about the fish. 6 white cloud minnows and 5 platties. was gonna either put them in their own tank or put em back in my main tank, which I would prefer.

Wouldn't toss they you can quarantine them or treat them before you put them back in the tank or roak them with warning.

Outdoor bugs like Aphids are easy to see on Frogbit. Look like small black things. I would simply slosh them around to dislodge the bugs, if they are that easy to get rid of. Dragonfly larvae ought to be just as easy to remove.
Then you sure could Q-tank the plants for a couple of weeks, just to make sure you got rid of all the bugs.

If you suspected anything bad enough to use potassium permanganate maybe you should not use the plants. Compost 'em.

I would quarantine the fish. Birds MIGHT have carried diseases or parasites from the wild to the pond. Treat the fish with a medicine for internal parasites, just in case. Prazi-Pro is one such treatment.
