BAS meeting

Anyone going to the BAS meeting tonight? I couldn't make the last 2
meetings. I'm bringing a few Super Red BN Plec's for the auction.
I have 10 to find homes for.

I have whiptails that are sitting on eggs now, hopefully they'll hatch out soon. The super reds are about 7 months. Got the parents a while back from Ruben when they were little guys.

To bad no one came to the meeting it was alot of fun and a really good auction.
Lots of fish donated from Absolutely Fish, Pacific and a large selection of corals, live rock and sw fish. I got into a bidding war with someone for Sterbai Cory's, got up to $48 for 3 young ones. I decided to let him have it, hopefully I can find some for much cheaper, lol, but it was fun. They also had a 10" aligator gar and I a fw ray which one woman won both for unbelievably cheap prices. Lots of nice plants, I got some very nice salvinia, wanted an amazon but lost out 2x on those. All in all it was a fun meeting and good auction. The president spoke about things he's learned over the years of fishkeeping, it was interesting and people were asking questions. Hope the auctions keep up like this, nice stuff!

Sounds like it was a fun auction. I have to try and make it out there one of these days, its just such a long ride for me. Bonnie, Andrew went to Pacific last Sunday and he told me that they had sterbai's for $6.99 each or 3 for $13.98.

Haha, you should have came after work, you know how things go there, the talk didn't start till about 9ish i think and the auction didn't start till 10ish. I left at 11:30p and got to talking to someone at the door for a bit .It was getting close to midnight and they were still auctioning off fish, and they had some good stock too. I was so tired from work I couldn't stay to see who got my super reds.

I just hate getting to places late. The times I did go it started late and ended late and I would stay to the very end, past midnight. Next time tho!
