Is there Chloramine in our water?


Does anyone know if there's Chloramine in our tap water? Doesn't seem so according to online searches but just want to make sure.

Nope. Just chlorine. Google "NY State water report" for more information.

NYC tap water is treated with chlorine and fluoride is also added

Thanks saw the 2012 water report. So no dechlorinator needed if I let the water sit for a day?

Is flourite a concern flukekiller?

Yeah you can. But I'd dechlorinate just as a precaution.

i dont think so i used to keep all kinds of fish in NYC tap water but i did use dechlorinator. the flouride is meant for people.

The concern with flouride is with human consumption if you do not filter it out.
