I'm settled now in my new place ( Humarock ), and looking for a stand for a 20g H that I was able to keep, and bring with me. I always had it on a kitchen counter, and before I pay for a stand or build one I figured I'd ask here first. Looking for a stand that's a dual level, and can hold 2x 20g H.

Also if the price is right rimless 20g as I'm thinking about going rimless, and 1-2 nice lights that don't bring me into the hightech spectrum to go over a 20g H which is 24"L x 12"W x 16"H if I remember right.

Thirdly if anyone has any good deals on pumpkin shrimp im interested as i want to start getting serious about adding to my few, and building up a breeding colony. Which will also allow me to trade, and sell to you guys only.

Steve :-)

Steve I have one of those cheap iron metal stand for a 20H

Not sure if you can fit another 20H under but it does have that rim around the bottom.

LMK buddy!

Looks like this but obviously shorter length for a 20H and no cross pieces.

Petco is doing the dollar a gallon again... You can always derim it yourself.

due to the cross piece on the bottom shelf of the stand pictured it does look like it is meant for a double.

I said it looks like the picture but shorter and no cross pieces.

But it does works.
I had the same one for a 55g and had a 30L under it.

@ H4N yeah the bottom looks smaller in dimension then the top. Thank you though :-)

MSG messaged me last night, he has exactly what I'm looking for as far as the stand goes.

@ Danny I could probably be OK taking the top rim off, but too many variables to taking the bottom rim off that aren't favoring, not into the look the bottom gap it would give. Want a clean rimless look

Be careful about removing the plastic trim from "budget" tanks. They are usually built with the thinnest glass possible and are not typically engineered to withstand bowing without the aid of the plastic trim. Plastic trim tanks usually have sloppy seams too so it may actually detract from the look you're going for.

Knocking over a 5 gal bucket is a lot to clean up, a 20 gal spill is a disaster !

Yeah I'm not going to. I just want a normal 20g rimless or 2. Closest thing I found for new for the size I want is your 17g Mr aqua which I'm considering if I have no luck here. I'm leasing a nice beach house til next June, all I need is a blowout to happen haha.

Alright so I have the stand I needed to hold 2 20g's. I'm picking up another 20g for the bottom rack in a couple hours, and substrate so I can separate my amanos, and 5 ghosts from my pumpkin tank. With that said iI'm looking for any free trimmings anyone could donate to help fill in the space. I just did a massive trim with what I have left to donate to a local LFS as I'm setting up their first planted shrimp tank, and have nothing to work with. :-)

@ Aluka, I'm going to try hard to be to the next meeting. Its going to be a long @ss day if I do. Wake up at 415am, hit the highway @ 5am, drive to Cambridge and work til 3pm, then kill time til the meeting starts.

@tattoo, another forum member ( MSG ) had one, and gave it to me. A source for them I'd try is the bostonreefers.org site in their marketplace. If not, I'd post in their want to buy section.
