Quick help on eheim 2213


Ive been offered one with no media, 1 month old from a friend of a friend... $40

How can i make sure it works properly before i hand over the cash? They already sold their tank...

What are things to look for?

id hook it up completely in a bucket on site

no way to hide anything that way

That, or they should also be able to hook it up to a laundry tub or bin with water if no tank is available. Otherwise you could be buying some expensive plastic for $40.
