Dwarf baby tears are a major pain in the butt to grow. HM is much easier to start with

It's fine until it grows in then, yeah it's gotta be recarpeted which is a big job especially if you have a big tank, which I assume you do for Angels. Plus HC needs co2 and good light/ferts if your going to create an attractive carpet.

HC is more difficult to grow, much more difficult than HM, usually it's not a beginner plant

also typically it's good to add all your plants at once so you don't disturb the substrate too much

also ghost shrimp are different from Amano shrimp or Japonica shrimp, they wont get along with other types of shrimp like cherries or crs and the ghost shrimp don't really eat algae either

I didn't notice there was a page 2 LOL I was waiting and waiting LOL yea I have a 55 gal tank for my Angels. ok guys, you have given me lots to digest. Thanks for all your input and advice.

BAbay tears have never worked without a CO2 and high light for me...
I would say low mait would be a moss on a netting weighted down until it spreads.
