My newest planted tank....would like your input

New aquascape...waiting for it to grow in. Added pogostemus helferi, made a light hood with compact fluorescents and led strip too, and made a co2 diffuser. Root tabs by seachem and liquid ferts. Plants and fish seem to be happy now. Trying for high tech on a low tech budget...lol

I used a $10 light strip from Home Depot an made a hood with 2x4's, then mounted a LED strip. I am using 3 compact fluorescents 25 watt 6400k, and got a fluval ceramic diffuser for about $12. The CO2 is from a dr. Pepper bottle with sugar water and yeast. Not much money into it, but didn't want to spend to much...the lack of money makes the tank less enjoyable. Lol.

Looks vibrant. Not much to say besides "well done". Will look even more lush when plants fill in.

I don't think you really have to, but if you want more plants, I think any Hygrophilia will look nice and keep nutrients in check: Water Wisteria, Willow Hygro, or some variety of Hygrophilia corymbosa will look good at the left back end. A single Water Sprite will add to the jungle. Maybe a red tiger lotus or dwarf Lilly for a touch if color.
