Wild's Newb 75gal

Hello,

This is my first post but have been reading for a few months on getting things going with live plants. Tons of great info here, almost too much sometimes, LOL.

Anyway I just put plants in my 75 yesterday and have a crappy cell phone picture for now.

Pretty simple setup for now
Aquaticlife Freshwater t5HO fixture Has 2 bulbs the 10,000K and the roseate
2 HOB filters
NO CO2 yet dosed with Flourish Excel
Flourish tabs
Eco complete substrate
Some random driftwood and I need to get my plant list together cause I already forgot what I put in, lol

I am open to comments and suggestions, I just hope something lives out of this first attempt, LOL

What are your eventual plans for the tank?

I don't know, LOL

Right now just want to grow plants and figure out the process and add a few fish at a later point. Tank was a compilation of used equipment so piece by piece trying to upgrade and make it a nice addition to the room. I really want it more densely planted and some schooling fish.

So this tank had been running for a while and did a check on the water and all looked good. Figured it was time to add some fish. Got about 10 small neon and orange tetra and 2 Oto algea eaters. They seem to be doing good so far this morning.

Also the plants seem to be doing pretty well for the most part. Had some of the leaves on the Aponogeton die off but there are 2-3 new shoots coming up. Been doing about a 40-50% water change each week. After the water change and adding the Flourish excel as per instructions the plants really bubble.

6+ weeks into plants and WOW what a difference a bit of time makes! We removed the manzanita and have gone for more plants and river rock. Everything appears to be doing insanely well; we've already had to trim back some water sprite.

Plant list:
Ludwigia repens, multiple
Echinodorus "Ozelot Sword" x 1
Anubias barteri var nana x 1
Aponogeton Bolivinanus x 1
Echinodorus bleheri x 2
Taxiphyllum "Christmas tree moss"
Java fern
Echinodorus barthii "Red Melon sword" x 2
Water Sprite
Cryptocoryne parva x 3
Dwarf Baby tears
Eleocharis parvula "Dwarf Hairgrass"
There are also 2 other types that we can't remember the names on: the tall plant at the left 1/3 of the tank next to the water sprite and the shorter, "bushier" plant in front of the driftwood to the right of the compact swords.
Fish:
Blue gourami x 2
Neon tetras x 15
Orange tetras x 5
Oto algae eaters x 2
Neon Dwarf Rainbows x 6
