Any store ... where? NY is a big state. Petco usually has small angelfish really cheap. Petsmart too.

Brooklyn Zoo has some skinny Apistogramma cacatuoides for $18.99(!) each. Aquarium Gallery has CPDs for $5.00 each & Puntius rhomboocellatus for $4.00 each. $5 is kind of steep for CPDs, but these were nice sized & without the sunken bellies most of the ones in stores seem to have.

Pacific has some very small Apistogrammas that I'm 90% sure are agassizi - the true agassizi, not A. sp. Steel Blue. I picked up 3 for 17.99, so in a few weeks I should be 100% certain which species they are. Petland in Brighton Beach has Congo tetras on sale for $1.99 each.

If anyone is swinging by Pacific today, can you confirm if they have CPD's or Chili Rasboras or Sundadanio Axelrodi? Thanks!

Does anyone have a list of places that sell a wide variety of plants? I'm also headed to MA so if you know any places along that way that would also be great! Thank you!

In our area, Pacific, Pets warehouse (carle place) consistently get a wide variety of plants. Pets warehouse in Copaigue is hit or miss but usually have varying types of crypt.

Petco and Petsmart have recently expanded into tissue cultured plants of varying species so it may be worth checking out. they typically cost $6.99 a package and portions vary by species

Last I checked, Petco Un Sq had a 40B by their turtles with many decently sized potted plants.

Thank you! I also found two places called House of Fins and Beital's Aquariums. I'll try to stop by both places. I'll post some info here in case anyone is interested.
