Eleocharis acicularis (DHG) Drying out...

Hi guys,

I've been having some problems trying to grow Eleocharis acicularis (Dwarf Hairgrass) using the dry method. Here's details of them when I got them almost 2 weeks ago.

They came potted
They were all around 8''- 10'' tall (Most likely 10'')
Very green, had bulbs at the top (so grown out of water?)
A lot of roots around the pot (I Cut them and cleaned them and took them all out of their pots)

Trimmed them from 10'' to 1'' in height
Separated them in smaller patches
Trimmed the roots

Substrate is ADA New Amazonia

I see growth (vertical/new bright green stems the following day I planted, this was many moons ago).

I trimmed them when they got to about 2'' (there were only a few 2-3 per patch that had them) back to 1''

Now they won't grow anymore and they're all turning yellow as if they were drying out...

I don't see any new roots growing except 1 patch...

I used Iron, Potash, etc in the water I use to keep the substrate moist.

Lighting wise 40w 10hours a day, also using 18w LEDs.

I don't know what might be wrong! Advice would be much appreciated
