No it's doesn't look edible
My goldfish friend has found some great riparium plants at Walmart and Home Depot and the grocery store. I was hoping not to pay for shipping fees

I was just messing with you. I believe many plants can be grown this way. You just have to experiment. No different than growing plants hydroponically really.
