I was going to respond in a more indepth response, and not privately as i dont know you, but i know people in this thread so my concern would be for them, and being private would not serve their/that purpose, but i will say i dont know you or been to your store so it wasnt meant to be a direct attack on you or your place of business in reference to my posts, i apologies if taken that way.

Anthony from Aquaful, I think it is great that you responded to this thread. I think everyone appreciates it.

Please, feel free to become an active member and keep an active thread going with what you have in stock, will be stocking, or will be putting on sale. I think we are all interested.

Also, you can get some incite on what kind of plants/fish/shrimp/etc are trending by reading the forums and then sell us those things .

To CrypticLifeStyle:
I did not take offense to anything you said or saw it as an attack I just wanted to clarify that what I sell as Seiryu stone is what every legitimate business such as ADGShop or Aqua Forest Amano sells as Seiryu stone. We all get it from the same place. Mine is not wrapped in an ADA box because that would cost more and it's also no longer available.
I also agree with your thought that traditionally pricing at LFS's around the Boston area are ridiculous but I hope that with a little research my pricing is the best or the same as the lowest prices online and for items that only I sell that they're priced competitively to similar products.
I think that it is good to approach things with a careful eye--I actually have a science/engineering background and am like this too--but often unfounded public skepticism can have an (un)intentional negative effect on whatever the subject is.
I run my business openly with all pricing visible online and convenient ways to contact me. If you find a better price somewhere else just let me know and I'll do my best to match it.

To DrakeScree:
Thank you for your kind words. I originally opened this store wanting to do all Nature Aquarium style tanks but over the months the lack of interest left me to refocus onto other things. I dabble in salt and fresh and am happy to help get anything that you guys want. Just get in touch with me here or through my website. My background is in saltwater so I'd be happy to learn from more of you.

Next week I will be receiving an order of Mr. Aqua tanks:
4x MA-730 12G Long 35.4"x8.3"x9.4"
3x MA-720LI 17.4G 24"x12"x14" Low Iron ADA 60P style tanks. I have an ADA 60P setup in my store so you can compare it side by side.
2x MA-610 30G 24"x24"x12" Shallow Cube
1x MA-465LI 25G 18" Low Iron Cube
2x MA-730_12 1.4G 12"x4.3"x6.3" mini bookshelf
2x MA-730_18 3G 18"x5.5"x7.1" mini bookshelf
2x MA-730_24 6G 23.6"x6.7"x9.4" mini bookshelf

I have met some of you already, hope to meet more!

I have AGA mailings that you guys can check out in the store if you aren't already a member--I recommend signing up, lots of good material from around the world and diverse subject matter that's always useful. I also have brochures for the New England aquarium if you haven't been there yet.

There's a HD close by, we can go grab another rack?

I might be up to driving, just not sure yet what if my plans for this weekend are happening. I want more pumpkin shrimp, and need to keep aluka from buying them all up on me

Just realized we need an appointment. This might have been the shortest field trip ever!

Anyone know if aquaful carries different scaping materials other than seiryu stones? Like other stone types or driftwood? Also, does anyone know if they carry different substrate materials?

Anthony has a limited space on what he carries in the store.
I have worked with him to get Aquasoil and I'm pretty sure he can get what you are looking for.

So no to substrates or wood? Do you know if he would be able to get Azoo plant grower bed? Or other alternatives to aquasoil?

He can get that for sure from us. His last order was in July though and it did not include any substrate. Give him a call and I am sure he can get that in on his next order.
