Ok, I've seen these little tanks with these filters on them. What I'm wondering is if you can get one of these filters itself. If so, where at? I've looked around and can't find one.
The filter in this link is what I'm talking about: http://www.velvetgiraffe.com/betta-tanks.htm |

You can buy it locally at Austin Aquarium. Petco also have a different kind of mini power filter.

I went ahead and ordered it since I'm getting it for someone else anyway... that way I can just ship them. Hey, are the same guy that's on the www.maast.org forums? |

Anyone have "long-term" experience with the quality/performance of this filter?

It's the same as the Azoo filter, I used it on their 1G cube. Fairly unremarkable--it's designed to move water through a filter pad and that's what it does. There's a knob to control flow rate. I eventually took the tank down because it proved to be more maintenance than it was worth (frequent water changes, replacing evaporated water). I wouldn't recommend the filter on anything larger than a 2- or 3-gallon tank.
