How's my CO2 diffusion looking?

Hey guys!
This is my first attempt at DIY CO2. I'm using a DIY mixture for my CO2 recipe (sugar to first line, 1/2 tsp yeast and warm water to second line) inside of a Nutrafin CO2 system- I was having issues with the bubble ladder so I decided to shove a piece of fine sponge in the end of the CO2 tubing. I'm getting some pretty fine bubbles. I'll be getting a glass nano diffuser in the mail within the next few days... How does this diffusion look for now?

looks good just make sure that fine sponge doesn't deteriorate over time or gather algae and get clogged.

I used a piece of cotton and just changed it once a week(when I made new yeast mixture) for like a month until i got a diffuser, it worked just fine. I didn't even use the whole cotton ball in that month.

This method was working great for about an hour. I have the bubble ladder set up now and a glass diffuser on the way.

I'll likely update this tomorrow when the nano diffuser shows. I hope it'll work for DIY!

The wood chopsticks from restaurants usually are bleached so I wouldn't put them in my tank
