Sparkling, Dwarf Croaking, or Pygmy Gouramis

Ok, so there all the same thing.. Anyways, I was wonder, does anyone out there have ANY info on them.. As of this date I've only found 2 sources, and one was my aquarium atlas by Baensch...

Well, what is it you would like to know?

They Orignate from area's such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Sumatra. There is only the wild caught form of this fish available as they are not bred commercially. Maximum size of these fish is approximately 3cm and they are more delicate then other gourami's.

Definately a peaceful fish they can be introduced into most established peaceful community tanks.

I wanna know everything and anything that I can... I'm getting 3 in a week and a half or 2 weeks, and I do not wanna screw it up... Anything you can tell me will be VERY helpful..

They are more delicate then other gourami's (not as delicate as Chocolate gourami's however). Softer water is prefered, with not too much current. They enjoy places to hide in plants, and will not like to be terrorized by other fish (they are very small and easily bullied).

Since these fish are Wild Caught you will want to quarantine them for a while before introducing them into your main tank. They may not eat right away either, so you should find out from your vendor what they were feeding them before you recieved them. It may take a few weeks to get them on a regular feeding schedule (wild caught fish often dont recognize flaked and pelleted foods as food).

That should get you started, sorry I don't have more to share
