Dario Dario Scalet Badis - Life span

Hi, Calling on all Dario Dario keepers and wondering what the average life span is for them?

I had one recently die after 2 years. He was about 1cm long when purchased and a little over 2cm when he died.

Thanks in advanced for your input!

Similar experience here. Got him about half inch size, He grew maybe another quarter inch. Lost him about 2 weeks ago , and I had him about 1.5 years? No problems at all previously, he just dropped one day. The water and tankmates were all good, so I'm assuming they are just shorter lived. Which isn't too surprising for such a small fish. I definitely need another tho, very cute fish!

Thanks for the reply! Sorry to hear about your lost. But I agree they are very cute and fun to watch while hunting.

Does anyone one else have experience with them and their lifespan? I see soooo many threads about them.

Thanks!
