Hahahaha... Apliu street in Sham Shui Po and Tung Choi Street in Mong Kok are my paradise

Hong Kong is already cheap but I bought them from China, online selling. So much cheaper than Hong Kong. And I recieved in less than 24 hours.

All LED's, heatsinks, drivers, lenses, fans, cables.... Everything under 40$ US

I like your diy setup. That gives me an idea. Maybe I could find some cheap heatsinks at an electronic/computer shop.

Michel.

Yes, if you really think about that you can find many things to do. You dont really need that much fans and four diferent heatsink, and four diferent driver...

Just one big heatsink and one driver (according your leds) enough.

Good luck! If you try to make, please share with us..

Thanks Michel...

If you have a scrap metal yard that sells, you may be able to get heat sinks by the pound if they got them.

Aluminum heat sinks go for $1 a pound over here. Anything aluminum for. $1 per lb.

Yeah JesterMake... This is real DIY soul!!

I found my fish tank in rubbish bin. It was kind of jewellery stand-cabinet. Remove all the glasses and build this one. Just spended 1-2 dollars for silicone..

Very cool. I think I need to study a lot before my next visit to Hong Kong.
Wondering if dimmable HP LED will work with a capacitor, making a "graduate lit up/off" effect.

Let me know if you come over here

I just got this idea after finish my installation It was too late because i need some "dimmable" driver I think. Im not really good at electronics. but im thinking to use two diferent timer. One is just turning on for back light panel just before 10 minutes earlier than rest of it. Not really nice I know. Maybe I can change drivers later...

Thanks for your opinions.
