Low tech filterless odd pico threads?

After searching and searching, I found a whole bunch of threads on tanks in bowls, hurricane lamps, and other glassware. Saved a lot if pictures...

A day later, searching for an hour, I find maybe 50% of threads I found last night.

Any way to create a sub-forum or catalog or cross reference so that I can keep half of my sanity? Thanks.

I find searching for "bowl" or "jar" helps quite a bit because almost nobody uses filters on them. I agree that we should have a "no tech" forum though. I have done a few nano's without a filter and really enjoyed it.

I've spent the last week also looking up no-tech bowls, jars, glasses etc.

A dedicated place to put these things would be lovely and help immensely when people want to ask question, research, or look at pictures of these.

Surprisingly (or not so) Geniusdudekiran comes up as picture number one on almost all searches pertaining to these that I have done, found that interesting.

I love making these and looking them up. It's hard to find a lot of threads on them in one place though, I'd appreciate a pico or no-tech area

I think this fits into the Low Tech category.

No Tech would be pretty hard to achieve for most hobbyists. Most of us at least use lighting - be it a desk lamp or small LED.

Though, it would probably be a good idea for someone to start a thread that keeps track of all the tanks/bowls/containers like this. Much like the DBP 3gal, Mr. Aqua 12gal, et al. That way it'd be easy to find most of the current super-low-tech setups.

I guess I opened my big mouth first.

I'll start a thread with links/index to lowest tech pico oddballs' journals.

Added benefit of having a thread for a 'club' or whatever - beyond people submitting their tanks and compiling links, folks can post photos of their setups. It's REALLY helpful to have a single thread to scroll through dozens of different tanks when trying to decide what to do.

So, OVT, do we start a club or just a thread? lol... Either way I'm in, I'll have to snap a few new photos of my vase!

I'm down for joining a club if you decide on it.
