Fluval Ultra Bright fitted to Eclipse Hood

mid project of re-engineering an Eclipse Hood for my 25g. The filter was removed already by the person that sold me the tank/hood/stand. currently using a whisper 60. I added a length of treated balsa wood to stabilize the hood (when I got it the back end was very flimsy.)

so I wanted to change to LED lighting (it was overdue time to replace the two T8's). got a Fluval Ultra Bright 18" from LFS. I coulda saved $30 at drfostersmith but like getting from LFS when I can.

the new LED is nice and bright, actually supposed to put out same as the two T8's but looks nicer. I currently have a decent Go Aqua clip-n LED but plan to replace with a better and less obtusive LED strip

Nice. I also re-enginered my 25g eclipse lighting a few months ago. Let us know how that lighting works out. I recently broke one of the hinges while cleaning. Now I need to figure out how to re-engineer that.
