Im just curious because you keep saying rare fishes, and.. its kinda hard knowing what they are w/o names. Queens is far.

fun little store~ tends to be a bit overpriced though. A nice place to drop by if ur in the area... but I wouldn't say it's worth travelling to flushing for it. lol

This. I used to stop by here all the time when I was in high school. It's really not worth traveling out to Flushing to visit it.

If you want save money on gas , then you can take subway and come to Pacific or aqua star . They sometimes have nice fishes

+1 that. I mean honestly there really aren't many places here in NYC that keep awesome fish. Just only a very few.

Go to Pets Warehouse in Long Island. Thought it was a store for cats and dogs and I passed by it a billion times until recently. I visited it and more than half of the store was aquatics. They even had nurse sharks!

They had these tiny tiny blue-eye killies at the place yesterday....I think they were around $3.50 a pop so not bad. I've only seen these fish on the internet and in pics but seeing them in person had my jaw drop. Such awesome fish. Anybody have experience keeping these? Will they do alright with ferts and co2?

terrible iphone pic. these fish were smaller than their CRS shrimp.
