Ended up picking up some scarlet badis and a crossband chocolate gourami (Sphaerichthys selatanensis) at Absolutely Fish today. Still on the lookout for true chocolate gouramis (Sphaerichthys osphromenoides).

Anyone know if there is anything left at win? I want to make a trip out there but wanted to know if it's worth going any more. Thank you in advance.

Another one bites the dust. It looks like Pacific is now the only shop in the entire
borough of Manhattan that carries hard to find fish & plants. I really miss Crystal Aquarium, New World Aquarium & Aquarium Stock Company.

I can do medium to large, just not the Jumbo size they have at Pacific (I have never seen them so huge)

Thanks for the heads up about Petco; I never thought they might carry them!

Hi all, when's the next chinatown swap meet? I definitely have some extra things to bring, like this barely used light hood, a few glass petri feeding dishes, Levamisole and Fenben treatments, a big tin of Tetra fishfood I decided not to use, a mostly full bottle of Flourish Complete, and probably by the time of the meet some plant trimmings. Maybe a pleco cave too, haha. Crazy how much stuff you end up switching away from in just one month of setting up a new tank!

Petco @ Union Square (17th St)
Peacock Gudeons - $11
Lambchop rasbora - $2.49
Rainbow goby (Stiphodon elegans?) - $6.59
Small to medium amanos - $2.39
Spotted butterfly loach - $8
Horned nerites - $2.19
Sumo loach - $7.49
Blue eyed albino bristlenose juvies - $27.49
Rhino pleco juvies - $14.49

Disclaimer - there are dead livestock in their tanks. If you do buy from them, quarantine for a minimum of two weeks. If you don't, you're pretty much playing Russian Roulette with your aquarium.

Yeah. Or the GLA brand but I don't even see it on their website right now.
