Natural Light - Ambient w/ Some Dappled Direct

I have gotten the bug to setup a second tank, this one in the living room.

The tank I chose, is an Aqueon 15, Dimensions: 13.6" x 13.8" x 24.8"

The location I am considering is the point of this post, so give me your feedback if you have any experience with doing this (because I dont!)

Ha, anyway, it will get plenty of indirect sunlight throughout the day, with just a few hours in the morning during the warmer months of dappled sunlight through the picture window.

Here are some pics of 8am in May, to give an idea:

Because the light that was included was so wimpy (single 12" T5) I am going to get a spotlamp and a 40w grow light. The tank is so deep it should diffuse most of that, and give me growth in the colder months when the sun will hit the tank much less in the winter.

Anyways, I have not made up my mind, all I have done is level it and take these pictures.

Any thoughts?
