Yeah that was my daughter, she is 6, my son is napping right now.

Clemson, the stream is up, has been since I posted earlier today. Come on by.

Vermino, thanks for the compliment! Great idea about the time lapse. I will work on getting a dedicated channel up for fish tanks. I will even share the stream key with others if you are interested in streaming...we could all share the channel. Like I said, its a great place to live chat also. It be cool to have a place that TPT members could regularly hang and share ideas or just BS and make friends.

Anyway...I will get to work finding some graphics for the background and banner for the new channel.

Hey EC I like the concept of what your doing. I am sure you have inspired a few others to do the same. Once a tank is up running its a good way to do updates on the tank(s) here and there. Its can also be used as a change of pace from a journal.

This Steelers tank is boring, I want to see fish! Just how late do I have to stay up to do that?

LOL, well if I leave it up all night you will just see a black dark tank.

You guys know the chat works even when the stream is down right? At the very least it can be used as a live chat. Just park yourself in there in an open window and wait. If enough people do it...then we have a chat room.

I am gonna take some time to make a dedicated channel for this since I use this channel for other things also. I am throwing the stream up right now in the current channel in the meantime. Time to go find some graphics.

Normally I wouldn't be so obnoxious, but I've yet to see a streaming tank. All I ever see is "STEELERS" and I can't help but to respond in kind.

LOL

I am not sure why you don't see it up. Did you literally just check? It is streaming right now.

And I respond in-kind with this

I got to watch for a while before heading out to work. It looks great! What's the big white (or maybe yellow) fish you have?

I've always wanted to have a kissing gourami in my 29 gal, but in all of my attempts they die before they can grow even just a little bit. Not only that, but they were really aggressive to my other fish and tore up my plants. Yours is so big, cut, and not aggressive at all! I'm jealous .

It's up.

(As soon as the computer is done booting up)

Someone PM'd me about doing this also, will try to get a simple write up on google docs to share so others can join in. All you basically need is a nice webcam (720/1080p even better) semi decent computer and Xsplit broadcaster. Test your download/upload at speedtest.net Your upload is what really matters in streaming. You should cast at around 1/2 to 3/4 the upload result to allow for overhead/data fluctuations. Xsplit has thier own video tutorials on the 'tube. I have a very involved setup 3 desktops and three laptops for music mixing/clips etc. I have an older 720p capable cam, I am actually looking at a newer one so if anyone is interested I can post my findings.

Live again. First of the transition lights are on, little bit of glare from me watching TV. I believe the ammano shrimp cleaned the algae up nicely. Time will tell.
