Moving fish tank to house 2 hours away

So I just graduated from college and have to move back home 2 hours away. I have a 29 gallon tank and have been reading up the best ways to move them but cannot decide on the best way. Some people say put them in an ice chest and some people say bag all of them up. Not sure what to do. Any advice?

It's only 2 hours. Do whichever way is better for you. Both methods will work.

To move my tank home from College, I put my fish in a cooler for a 3 hour trip. When I got back home and was setting up my tank again, I dumped the fish & water into a bucket and ran my filter in the bucket. This seemed to work for me as I had no losses, and the fishes colored back up within 4 hours of putting them back into my tank.

2 hours isn't a long trip. You should have no problems with either bags, a cooler, or even a few 5 gallon buckets with lids.
