LED Fixture and Spectrum Expiry

I got myself a 2ft LED FLUVAL and the sales guy said that LED lighting don't lose their spectrum results and degrade unlike T5 light tubes. Just wondering whether what he said is correct.

When I use T5 lighting, I tend to replace the tubes every year then plants will grow, anyone been using their LED lighting for a while and its still giving good results?

Fluorescent tubes and halides tend to have shifts in color spectrum with age, also shifts in luminosity.

LEDs driven at 100%, tend to develop those traits after 7 or so years. If overdriven, much quicker of course. Overall, LEDs have a much sharper drop off in spectrum due to the way their designed. Not sure if you'll see much of a spectrum swing, but you will see an intensity/luminosity swing with age.

The DIY LED light I'm using now has about 4 years or so on it and it still works the same as it did when new. But, it is running at around 350 mAmps - low power. The LEDs are Ebay bargain LEDs from China.

While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
