It saddens me that a once very active forum sponsor is noticeably avoiding posting here. Orlando's not that busy...

I wanted to buy one of their CO2 regulators, but had a question I wanted to run by them. I e-mailed GLA on two seperate occassions with no reply. I've since moved on. Appears to be a poorly run business.

Hi oldpunk78,

I am going to step up for Orlando. I placed an order on March 18th for a CO2 manifold and a permaseal. I had one question prior to purchase about lead time and received a quick response. My order shipped 2 days after being placed (they had to build the manifold) and I received it 3 or 4 days later in Seattle. I couldn't be happier with the product or the service.

One post and 2 emails went answered. Ignore a customer, lose a customer.

I've shopped around but never placed an order through GLA but I've asked many many questions through his website. Now, I've not received an email response at all when I've copied the email and pasted it into my own email but every question in multiple inquiries were rapidly answered when I used their online questionaire tool.

So, not sure which method you used. If, you tried to simply take his email address down then send one rather than using the website customer service tool then I'd suggest trying that method first. If then you still get no response after a day or so (during the work week) then I'd say could be an issue.

My main concern with GLA is the fact that I could not find a single phone number to call and physically ask questions nor could I find the business registered with the Better Business Bureau.

No, that's not what I meant. I consider Orlando to be a friend of mine. He even asked me to moderate on ape. Gla has great customer service and sells decent products. None of that was my point.

I'm simply just a little put off that he has chosen not to participate here anymore.
