shrimp injury


i would like to know of tips or help on treating an injured shrimp slow movement and some visible damage .

it depends on the extent of injury. are there missing appendages or a crack in the shell? missing antennae or eyes? best to isolate in a breeder net within the tank for recovery

im not sure how to explain it really but i will try... it kinda looks as if the part from the head to the body or tail part has been slightly pulled kind of injury!

Oh that is just a forum signature lol. Something @ the end of a user's post for fun.

Anyways, isolating your injured shrimp will help speed up the recovery process, and that description sounds like a bad molt issue.

Posting a picture could help determine best course of action for what injury it may be and how to treat.

Water parameters? If it's a failed molt, you might want to check to make sure there's not something wrong with your water.

Some say that's only there before a molt. Others say it's an indicator of shrimp growing faster than their shell. I haven't noticed anything bad from it, so I don't even worry about it.
