ok, that's pretty bad ass. I can't really tell what it's made of... CNC'd brass?

Hi, it's and old steam boiler guage glass. Don't understand cnc'd brass? What is this?

That sure is cool looking. It is always nice when the equipment is visible but aesthetically pleasing.

CNC = Computer numerical control

Essentially, a CNC machine (CNC mill) will allow coordinate input into a computer, which will then control a mill that can cut out shapes/pieces (that can be assembled into a product, etc).

Think I remember using a CAD CAM machine in school. It was like a Lathe if i remember.

Im working on cleaning up another one but im missing one of the brass nuts that holds the glass tube. I may need to buy one and they cost 25 each. Not a cheap toy. My missus just gives me the funniest looks when I walk with regulators on fire Extinguishers and the likes
