Long Island Region Suggestions

I will be conducting a skill-building activity for two weeks at Hofstra University, and will need to purchase fish stock, plants, and equipment. If you guys could provide names of trusted fish and plant stores in that region, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks in Advance!

You should purchase plants from me! My prices are below other stores and I can come to you at the college. I've got shrimp as well :^)

Unless you have a car or other form of transportation places to visit are far and few.

Pets warehouse is located nearby, about 2 miles away give or take.
Overpriced fish, plants and equipment unfortunately.
No special equipment there either.

You would be able to pickup fish from franksaquarium.com if able to get to Lindenhurst.

There are better shops in the city you could visit.
I haven't been to many specialized shops but there are 3 in a 3 or so block radius in China Town.

Keep in mind that you should have an insulated foam box in your checked baggage. You can't get onto an aircraft with liquid/fish in your carry on!!!

As someone who's purchased fish, shrimp and plants from Gordon, I fully agree. (if you're counting, that's two thumbs up)
