Paintball Regulator to CGA 320 Cylinder

So I have the GLA Paintball CO2 Regulator: http://greenleafaquariums.com/produc...regulator.html

With the high light I'm pushing in my tank I have to replace a 20oz paintball cylinder about every 2 1/2 weeks. I'd like to replace the inlet on the regulator to accept a CGA 320 5lb cylinder. I know the inlet is left hand threaded, and it is as simple as removing the old inlet and replacing it with a new one.

My question is, is there any way to make it so that the regulator will be in the upright position? If I just replace the inlet the regulator will sit sideways on the 5lb cylinder.

I've been looking for a 1/4" left hand threaded male/female elbow to attach to the regulator so that it will be upright when I screw it onto the cylinder. I'm having a real hard time finding a part like this though.

Does anyone know where I could find this particular part? Or is there a better way to accomplish what I'm trying to do? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

What is the problem of having the regulator sideways?

Rather than looking for an elbow for the regulator to CO2 cylinder connection, just take off the post-regulator body (solenoid, needle valve, bubble counter, etc) and attach an elbow there. The standard NPT sized elbows are much easier to find.

I guess there's no problem, I just thought it would look funny lol. Good idea taking off the post body and putting an elbow there, the reg would still be sideways but that might be my best bet. Thanks for the advice.

Actually, the GLA regulator (from the link that you have) is on the paintball cylinder sideways

Putting it on a CGA320 CO2 cylinder will put the regulator into its "normal" position. 0 PSI on both gauges are generally around the 7-8 o'clock position, not the 10-11 o'clock position.
